1 clove of garlic

Description

Turkey thigh pizzaiola style is a very simple dish to prepare, which will always allow you to make a great impression with your guests.

The delicate taste of turkey together with the tomato sauce is always appreciated, also as a second course of a Sunday lunch, or for a dinner with friends while watching the game on TV

The pizzaiola meat, is an ancient recipe of Italian tradition and, thanks to its versatility, it can be prepared in different ways: try this version with AIA turkey Sottilissime and you will not be disappointed!

Procedure

Prepare the turkey thigh pizzaiola style by starting to fry the garlic clove with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a large pan with high sides.

Pour the peeled tomatoes into a pan with a little oil and a clove of garlic, then crush them with a fork.

After 5 minutes, remove the garlic clove and add the oregano. Adjust with salt and pepper and let it cook over low heat.

​In the meantime, in another pan, brown the AIA turkey thigh slices in a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and, when they are well browned, add them to the tomato sauce.

​Cook the pizzaiola style turkey thigh slices for 10 minutes and serve them hot accompanied by crispy bread.
