4 red peppers

Belgian endive as needed
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of mustard
1 clove of chopped garlic
2 chillies

Marinate the sausages for about 2 hours with the chopped herbs, garlic and oil.

In the meantime, clean and cut the peppers into cubes and melt in a saucepan the sugar with 2 tablespoons of water.

When the sugar starts to simmer, add the peppers and the chilli. Continue cooking for 30 minutes and then blend adding the mustard.

Let the spicy pepper jam cool down. Cut the endive into 4 parts and season it with extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper and cook it on the barbecue together with the sausages.

Serve the endive and sausages on a nice serving dish and accompany with the spicy pepper jam on the side.
