Description

The Stroganoff fillet is typical of Russian cuisine but it is so easy to prepare at home and especially so quick to make that it could become the recipe to pass on to children and quickly become a family tradition for Sundays or holidays.

Procedure

1

To prepare the Stroganoff fillet, thinly slice the half onion and cook it in a pan with a knob of butter. When it has become transparent, add the cleaned mushrooms and thinly sliced.

2

When they are cooked, adjust the salt and turn off the heat. In a separate pan, heat the remaining butter and brown the turkey fillet, turning it so that it cooks evenly.

3

Add the cognac and finish cooking.

4

At this point add the cream, mushrooms and onion and cook for about 5 more minutes.

5

Serve the whole turkey or already portioned, sprinkling it with the cream sauce. Accompany with a salad and seasonal vegetables.
