Procedure
In a bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk together with the sugar to obtain a frothy mixture. Add the zest of a lemon, the milk, a pinch of salt and the anise liqueur. Mix well and then add the sifted flour as soon as the mixture is homogeneous. Then also add a packet of baking powder.
Let the mixture rest for a few minutes in the bowl and in the meantime heat a drizzle of oil in a non-stick pan. Once the oil is hot, with the help of a spoon take a bit of dough at a time and put it in the pan with the boiling oil.
Fry the dough balls one by one, taking care to turn them from time to time until they are golden on the surface. Now drain the fritters and place them on absorbent paper. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve while still hot. Enjoy your meal!
