AIA Keb's Piada with cucumbers and red onion
Ingredients
Description
The piada comes alive with flavor thanks to a unique and original filling: with AIA's Keb's you will indeed have a really tasty filling. The cucumbers will give a touch of freshness while the fried onion rings will make this sandwich a real treat.
Procedure
To prepare the Keb's filled piada, cut the cucumbers thin lengthwise. Season them lightly with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Slice the onions into rings. In a bowl, mix 2-3 tablespoons of flour with enough cold sparkling water to obtain a somewhat thick batter.
In a non-stick pan, heat the piada on both sides, sauté the Keb’s with a drizzle of oil over high heat for a few minutes. Heat plenty of seed oil in a frying pan, fry the onion rings dipped in the batter until they are crispy.
Serve the piada with the cucumbers, the Keb’s and the fried onion.
