Preparing stuffed onions is really simple and in a few easy steps you can bring to the table an original and really tasty dish. Procedure
After peeling the onions, boil them for about 20 minutes in a pot with plenty of salted water. Once ready, drain them and let them cool, then remove the top cap and hollow them out.
Chop the contents of the onion and put it in a bowl. In another bowl put the grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, sausage pulp, egg and stale bread that you have soaked in milk.
Finally add a pinch of salt and half of the obtained onion pulp. Now stuff the hollowed out onions with the obtained mixture and sprinkle them with breadcrumbs.
Lay them on a baking tray that you have previously oiled and bake them at 180°C for about 30 minutes until they are golden brown to the right point.
