This dish will also please the little ones who will ask for seconds. Serve the pork rolls stuffed with leeks with boiled green beans and roasted potatoes and success is guaranteed.
Procedure
To prepare this delicious main course, clean the leeks by removing the green part of the stem and the outer skin. Then peel them and place one or two pieces on the pork loin slices, cutting away any excess.
Place a thin slice of fontina cheese on top of the leek and roll the meat onto itself to form the rolls.
Preheat the oven to 170° and place the rolls on a slightly oiled baking tray. Let them cook for about 20 minutes, turning the rolls so that the cooking is even.
In the meantime, boil the green beans and the potatoes in boiling water. Drain them together, peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Then sauté them in a very hot pan with a drizzle of oil.
When the pork rolls stuffed with leeks are ready, serve them hot accompanied by the pan-roasted potatoes and the drained and warm green beans, seasoned with a drizzle of oil, salt and pepper.
