Ingredients
Description
A Spanish recipe dedicated to all lovers of strong and decisive flavors: these are the AIA chicken thighs Spanish style, made with a delicious cream based on garlic and aromatic herbs!
The main ingredients for making this tasty recipe are, in fact, precisely the garlic, the aromatic herbs, the pepper and - obviously - the chicken, with the addition of a slight spicy note: the chili pepper.
Ideal for a family lunch, the Spanish-style chicken thighs will win you over with their unique flavor: here is the complete recipe!
Procedure
Dust the chicken thighs with flour in a bowl, then salt and pepper them.
Peel the garlic cloves, crush them slightly and then brown them in a large pan with plenty of extra virgin olive oil, over low heat. Count 4 minutes turning them often and then remove them from the oil, but do not throw them away: set them aside, you will need them for the sauce.
Brown the chicken thighs well on all sides in the oil flavored with garlic, raise the heat and then deglaze with the white wine; lower the heat, add the finely chopped rosemary, sage and thyme, the whole bay leaf, a pinch of chili pepper powder. Turn the meat, adjust with salt if necessary and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the garlic sauce: transfer the cooked cloves to a blender glass with a pinch of salt and two tablespoons of water, then pour the extra virgin olive oil in a thin stream while blending with the hand blender.
When you have obtained the consistency of a cream, pour it into the pot with the chicken, dilute with boiling water and continue cooking until the meat is tender.
