Description

The Amatriciana sauce is one of the most famous preparations of our Italian cuisine in the world: have you ever tried to taste it on meat instead of using it to season pasta? The result will win you over!

In this variant of the traditional recipe, in fact, the AIA Chicken Breast Slices are served together with a delicious Amatriciana sauce, made with tasty cubes of Negroni Sweet Bacon, tomato sauce and Roman pecorino. The delicacy of olive oil and the zest of chili pepper will then give that extra touch to the dish that will be enjoyed to the last bite.

So here is the recipe for chicken slices with Amatriciana sauce, born from the union of the AIA Chicken Breast Slices and the Negroni Sweet Bacon in cubes: try to make it at home!

Procedure

1

Start by browning the Negroni Sweet Bacon in cubes in a non-stick pan without condiments, until the fat has melted and the meat is crispy. Deglaze with a little white wine and, once ready, transfer the bacon to a plate and keep it warm.

2

In another pan, heat some extra virgin olive oil with a pinch of chili pepper, then cook the AIA Chicken Breast Slices for two minutes; adjust with salt and remove them from the pan, placing them on a warm plate.

3

Now take care of the sauce: in the same pan where you cooked the meat, pour the tomato sauce, adjust with salt and pepper, then cook for 10 minutes over low heat.

4

Add the chicken slices to the pan with the sauce, let them flavor, then also pour the bacon and finish by covering everything with the grated pecorino.
