Orange and Sun-dried Tomato Hamburger
Ingredients
Description
When we talk about hamburgers, we immediately think of the classic sandwich stuffed with meat, mayonnaise, ketchup or bbq sauce: in reality, the hamburger is very versatile and suitable for seasonal and more creative preparations.
The secret of this recipe? The addition of sun-dried tomatoes that give a natural overall flavor and the scent of orange.
So here's how to prepare the orange hamburger with sun-dried tomatoes.
Procedure
Cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice from only one part, filter it and set it aside. Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into strips. In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil and start to cook the burger.
When the hamburger is browned on both sides, add the sun-dried tomatoes, deglaze with the orange juice and season with salt and pepper. Let the juice reduce until it is similar to a sauce and turn off the heat.
Cut the bun in half and stuff it with the lettuce, a couple of slices of orange without the peel, the mozzarella and the orange hamburger with sun-dried tomatoes.
