Description
Perfect for a barbecue with friends, the skewers are the best thing there is. Along with a lot of other dishes. But if you want to turn the skewers into something memorable you have to serve them with the Tropea red onion jam.
This recipe will be the favorite of the children, will make proselytes among your dinner guests and will be the most requested for the Sunday lunch. Not to mention that given the speed with which the skewers with Tropea onion jam are prepared, you can use this dish for hunger attacks, dinners in front of the TV and even when at the last minute you decide to invite some friends.
Procedure
To prepare the skewers with onion jam, thinly slice the onions and let them wilt with the brown sugar, oil, thyme and finally the vinegar.
After about 10 minutes the jam is ready. In the meantime, grease the tomatoes with oil and sprinkle them with granulated sugar. Put them in a casserole in the oven for about 10 minutes at 100 C°. In the meantime you can start to cook the Spring Rustics on the barbecue.
Once the cooking is finished, compose the dish with the meat, the jam and the cherry tomatoes.
